“For three decades now, I have watched the tools at work, moving people from lives of frustration into lives of joy.”
Julia cameron, Author of the Artist's Way
Does this sound like you?
You have creative ideas but can't bring them to life
You feel stuck in the monotomy of the everyday
You have lost touch with your dreams
You want to reignite your creative spark
You know you deserve to tap into your limitless potential
It's Time To
Find Your Way
It’s a classic for a reason.
Julia Cameron’s The Artist's Way is an effective tool in developing your Creative Self – be that for artistry in your business, craft, story, or life. How about all of the above?
We are all so busy, yet we seek more. We have the tools, but we don’t have the energy or focus to use them well. We know there are steps, but maybe the fifth one feels so challenging that we get stuck there and don’t complete the process. We understand. We’ve been there. We know you want more for yourself.
This is your opportunity to be gently and joyfully guided as we work through the twelve weeks of the powerful and potentially life-changing curriculum of The Artist’s Way together.
April and Alicia (you could call us your A-Team) thoughtfully hold space and help manage the twelve steps of this formidable process for you. We offer rich content and connection beyond The Artist’s Way book, while helping you hold yourself accountable to this undertaking as you follow along each step on this potent path of self-discovery. We believe that by leading a community of constructive seekers through this process, each person will find an even deeper understanding of their own potential.
April and Alicia keep each step clear, specific, and contained so that you might let yourself run a little wild to see what’s in your creative heart without getting lost along the way.
We are keeping this cohort small so that we have the chance to stay connected.

Alicia Wilhelmy is a creative connector, Chosen Cincinnatian, multi-talented mother of three artist children and wife of one artist husband. She remembers discovering her creativity in the Walmart crafts aisle in her small hometown in East Tennessee and further developed it playing the clarinet in 5th grade band. Voted most-talented by her 8th grade class, Alicia loves to play the piano and sing, study language and read poetry and fiction.
A lawyer by training, Alicia left the practice of law to care for her self and her family after twice battling cancer as a young mom and winning. She supported her husband and fellow creative, Christian, as he built their bread and butter business Seemless Printing, which serves businesses and arts organizations in Cincinnati. Along the way she became an expert knitter, started playing tennis and became fascinated with American mahjong which she teaches to many.
In her path back to working outside the home, Alicia has devoted her time to philanthropic efforts including leading successful fundraisers for her children’s schools, and serving on the Executive Leadership Committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and as the Executive Challenge Chair in 2023.
Contributing to the family business, Alicia completed Goldman Sachs’ 10KSB program and acted as a Champion for Queen City Game Changers, an executive coaching program for Cincinnati area professional women.
Alicia’s friend Whitney Ellison introduced her to The Artist’s Way in 2021 as a way to develop her creativity and cope with the transitions of her oldest child moving west to Montana for school and her father’s final illness. Since then she steadfastly writes her morning pages and enjoys artist’s dates whenever she can find the time. Through this practice and other personal development tools she has tuned in to her desire to connect with others in a meaningful way on a regular basis and birthed her business SayShaSha which aims to help us all befriend our inner child and find time to play.
Alicia & April have known each other and swam in and out of one another’s lives since 1998! First meeting as students at UC - Alicia in law school with April’s husband Michael and April seeking her master’s degree at DAAP, these two have enjoyed participating in a knitting group together for near a decade and shared parenting their children who were classmates at the Cincinnati Waldorf School. They bring to this cohort a deep respect for one another and a varied background in the study and pursuit of creativity and love for life.
